DUNE has given me the opportunity to explore neutrino physics, a very exciting branch of science with a high probability of answering some of the fundamental questions of our time. And this modern way of doing science often requires large, international collaborations. I enjoy working closely with other colleagues from Latin America, but this experiment has also created the opportunity to share experiences with people coming together from all around the globe. I have a daughter named Sofia, and people believe that she has that name as a tribute to philosophy &#8211; which comes from \u2018philosophia,\u2019 the love of wisdom &#8211; because my wife and I are both scientists.
