I like the tension between boundaries. Sometimes we confront boundaries in the physical, real world, but sometimes this happens when we have to make a decision. This is also an enjoyable experience in research — seeing the boundaries and making a decision. I think people now know that we are approaching some kind of edge of neutrino physics, so now DUNE is crossing some boundary of framework, and I want to be a part of this kind of event. When I explain DUNE to other people, to students, I think I enjoy this point most of all. Once you know physics, there is no more valuable thing than physics. I’m just lucky I had a chance to pursue it.
